This is an excellent cookbook! The recipes are simple and savory, designed to bring out the best flavors of fresh ingredients. It is obvious the author has considered the taste and texture qualities of garden grown vegetables, and how to cook so as to enhance those qualities. For the Northwest vegetable gardener, it is full of practical experience and advice. The advice and the recipes also span all the seasons in the garden.
I've always valued Ms. Lovejoy's garden expertise; I had no idea she was a gourmand as well! I'll be using this book over and over.
