This is a book for everyone who loves movies. Be forewarned: If you read it, you'll never see movies in quite the same way, but your new perspective will help you appreciate movies more.

"When the Shooting Stops" is a memoir. Each chapter is written to illuminate one or two ideas of just what is movie editing. Mr. Rosenblum worked for years editing the movies of Woody Allen.

I've owned 3 copies of this book, and some day I may learn not to lend it.
