Greg Harvey, PhD (Inverness, CA) has studied the culture surrounding death and dying for years. He is a member of the American Academy of Bereavement from which he received bereavement facilitator training and the Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). He has taken many courses in death and dying as part of his doctorate program, and did his comprehensive exams in death and dying in Western and Eastern cultures and religions. Currently, Greg works as a patient care, vigil, and bereavement volunteer for the second oldest hospice in the United States in and around San Francisco. He is the bestselling author of many previous Dummies books.
