About the Author

Helen D. Hume is an artist and art educator who taught for more than 30 years in the St. Louis region and international schools. She is a board member of the St. Louis Artists' Guild and the author of seven books in arts education, including The Art Teacher's Book of Lists from Jossey-Bass.
