Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

On a bright sunny morning on September 11, 2001, hijackers took control of four U.S. commercial airplanes. The terrorists crashed two planes into the two tallest towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Forty minutes later, the hijackers crashed another plane into the U.S. Department of Defense headquarters at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Passengers on the fourth hijacked plane, however, resisted, and the plane crashed in an empty field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The tragic events of September 11 killed 2,986 people, scarred Americans, and changed the world forever.
