Book News Annotation:
Covering some 2400 rock climbing areas in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, this guide offers state-by-state (or province-by- province) listings of areas across the continent. State and province maps show geographic locations, while entries cover such information as climb names and difficulty ratings, directions, type of rock, and best season to climb. Since inclusion of climb routes would have expanded the guide to an unwieldy size, the author has included citations to other books that presumably contain such information.
