I collected most of these stories separately, having become a MacDonald fan after reading At the Back of the North Wind. MacDonald is a treasure and finding all of these under one cover is a real find. I read North Wind aloud to my children and the three of us were enthralled. The Light Princess is available free on line but is nicer to have a bound hard copy. I wish the author had written more.
