The book is fairly rudimentary - they could have done much better with the quality of the maps, but it did get us to a number of wonderful places for accommodation that we would never have found any other way. We stayed in charming places at much lower cost than the expensive hotels in Norway, and in many cases, we would have even paid a premium over hotels just to stay at the B&Bs that we encountered.

I searched extensively for other books on B&Bs in Norway, but this is a growing segment in the country, and this was the only book I could find. Definitely worth carrying it with you if you're traveling without fixed plans.
