A very pleasing read. Having never read sci fi, this novel was somewhat a revelation to me. The language and story are not complex, it is wonderfully paced and gripping. I loved the details and the plot. My favourite character was McCray, he´s such a funny guy. I am definitely interested in seeking out more sci fi, particularly by this author.

If you are a science fiction fan, this book is definitely for you. This was a book I received just before the weekend and had trouble putting down to go to work Monday morning. The writing was fast paced and kept me hooked. No doubt this will end up as a TV film in the near future. Daphne Kuijpers is now one of my favourite authors with her good solid storytelling, with lots of chills and thrills. Overall, a great book with great twists and turns that stopped me putting the book down until it was done.
I can recommend this book most strongly, whether you´re a sci-fi fan or not!
