This is a truly amazing book. I had to do some research on Mr. Johnson to determine whether or not I could believe some of what he wrote. Was he legitimate? Apparently he is as I have seen no detracting comments about him, and despite his conservative views he received favorable reviews in The New York Times and Atlantic Magazine.
The breadth and depth of Modern Times is breathtaking and the detail incredible.
Would that everyone could read his words and understand what has transpired in the struggle for power among politicians and the media in the century past.
Sadly, ignorance continues and will forever apparently. And it will because books like Modern Times are not read and understood by more people.
