Publisher Comments:

When Jill's mom asks the Pony Scouts to help her run a pony party for a little girl's birthday, Meg, Jill, and Annie can't wait to help! After all, any girl who is having a pony party must share the Pony Scouts' love for all things horses. But when the Pony Scouts arrive at the party, they see that the birthday girl is the only one at the party who is not interested in riding the horses! How could this be? The Pony Scouts will find out!

Gallop on with the Pony Scouts in this beautifully illustrated book—the ninth in the Pony Scouts series!

This I Can Read story is perfect for beginning readers and pony lovers alike! In this charming story, the Pony Scouts are helping throw a pony party for a little girl's birthday. But when the birthday girl isn't having fun, it's up to the Meg, Jill, and Annie to save the day.

About the Author

Catherine Hapka is the author of many books for children of all ages. She is too tall to ride ponies, though her mare, Gerri, still looks like one. Catherine takes riding lessons twice a week and lives on a farm with Gerri, three goats, a small flock of chickens, and too many cats.

Anne Kennedy loves her big spotted gelding, Frosted Art (whom she calls Frisco). In addition to being completely pony crazy, Anne enjoys dogs, movies, chocolate, and illustrating beautiful books. She lives with her family in Ohio.
