About the Author

Roger Marshall is an accomplished yacht designer, competitive sailor, and author of 12 yachting books. Project manager in 1987 for the Courageous Americas Cup team, he has written some 600 articles for boating magazines worldwide and is chair of the publications committee for the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
