She did her graduate studies in Neuroscience at the University of North Texas.Ricki Lewis, well-known author of Life, Beginnings of Life, and Human Genetics. She received her Ph.D. in genetics from Indiana University. She is practicing genetics counselor for Women's Medical Health Care in New York.
