I cannot believe I am the first one to comment on this surprisingly WONDERFUL book released in 2001! It is a FASCINATING time-travel adventure of a 12 year old girl who makes a discovery of a secret root cellar when Rose is sent to live with an unknown aunt after her grandmother's death! I promise you The Root Cellar will be long remembered after you're done reading!
