About the Author

Richard Peck lives in New York City. His extensive list of honors includes the Newbery Medal, the Edgar Award, the Margaret A. Edwards Award, and the National Humanities Medal. He has twice been a finalist for the National Book Award.

This is incredible book about how a young girl (Gail) is sexualy harrased for awhile and the unavoidable rape happens. It shows how rich wins over justice. The book also describes the after math of being raped how depression slowed her life and what people where sayin behind her back. This book is incrdible and i recommend it to all who wishes wo read a suspencful and mysterious novel i.
