Max's Christmasby Rosemary Wells
Synopses & Reviews
Before Max and Ruby were preschoolers, they were Baby Max and Ruby. The popular bunny siblings are back in two more board books?as their baby selves.
In Sandbox, Max and Ruby mix delectable treats out of bubbles, berries, birdseed, and sand.
In Birthday, Max gets lots of wonderful birthday presents?but none quite so nice as Grandma?s!
With eye-catching novelty elements, these irresistible board books will introduce the very youngest readers to the beloved bunny pair, who star in their own show on Nick Jr. and Noggin.
Santas on the way!
Max has plans to stay up late to see Santa Claus, but his big sister, Ruby, wont let him. Why?” asks Max. To which Ruby replies everyones most despised answer: BECAUSE!” So Max takes matters into his own hands and sneaks into the living room to wait for Santa on his own. Will Santa still show up? What will he say if he sees Max up waiting for him?
Working as a mother's helper to a wealthy family that's surrounded by lavish houses and beautiful swimming pools is about as far from her working-class neighborhood in New York as Dorothy can get. But something is not quite right in the Hoades' house. They are hiding something-or someone-in the cottage behind the house. And when curiosity gets the better of her, Dorothy stumbles upon their secret-a secret that could cost her her future.
