It is very educating, with a lot of useful information. It is easy to understand, yet at different points it was pretty indent, so for me a little harder to follow at times. My husband didn't have the issues I did. I wouldn't let that stop you from getting the book. You may be like hubby and have no problems at all. It does have a lot of good knowledge in it to go over. If your into Rocks and Minerals like my husband and I. You'll enjoy it as we did, I'm sure.
