About the AuthorJeff Bridges is an Oscar-winning actor, performer, and songwriter.
Bernie Glassman is the abbot of the Zen Community of New York and the Zen Center of Los Angeles. A former aerospace engineer, he holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from UCLA. Glassman is founder of the Greyston Bakery and a cofounder of Zen Peacemakers, an international order of social activists.
