The Gregor the Overlander series are some of my favorite books ever. They are all terrific fantasy books. A boy named Gregor and his baby sister, Boots find a secret land, under New York City, The Underland. The Underland is home to giant cockroaches, bats, mice, and evil rats. Humans live down there too. Gregor is an 11-year old boy who is a "warrior" and he has to fight for the Underland humans. He is heroic, strong, and brave. Boots is sweet, loving, funny and brave. I have read all the books in the series and I love them all. I have recommended them to my car pool friends, my classmates and to the older kids at my school (I am 8)--and they all love the books too! Even my mother loves these stories and she never likes anything with cockroaches or rats in it! I read it myself but then my whole family read the books together----they are great books. You wont' be disappointed!
