A dramatic and extremely approprite title as it relates to this story. Regardless of who the reader is, you will understand and feel what was going on at that time for Italian Americans. For most Italians, it really hits home emotionally. It is difficult not to feel proud of family members who came to this country in efforts to assimilate into the American culture and make a better life for their families during a time when Italian Americans were minorities. Their perserverance, and work ethics continued to drive them to achieve and fulfill their desires for the American Dream. The end result, history, what the Italians of yesteryear, and of today proved.... that Hard Work, Pride, and Family Values fortified the importance of ITALIANS in this country! Buona Fortuna a Tutti!!
