Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

The first in a middle-grade action-adventure series from Roland Smith!

Chase Masters and his father are "storm runners," racing across the country in pursuit of hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. Anywhere bad weather strikes, they are not far behind. Chase is learning more on the road than he ever would just sitting in a classroom. But when the hurricane of the century hits, he will be tested in ways he never could have imagined.

Synopsis:

The first in a middle-grade action-adventure series from cross-channel bestselling author Roland Smith.

This is the first in a three-book middle-grade series about a twelve-year-old boy whose father is a disaster hunter — someone who keeps an eye out for situations like Hurricane Katrina, tornados, etc., and heads TOWARD them with the intention of offering his services and expertise in reconstruction. But sometimes the boy's father also exploits those in need, something his son can't stand and tries to compensate for in his own way. Book One will take us to the scene of a hurricane, and it will be nonstop adventure from the first page.
