About the Author

Robert Kalan is the author of the immensely popular Jump, Frog, Jump!, illustrated by Byron Barton, and Rain and Blue Sea, illustrated by Donald Crews. He completed a master's degree in education at Claremont Graduated School, has taught reading to both gifted and remedial students, and has also taught kindergarten and fourth grade. He and his family live in Bellevue, Washington.

I have loved this story since I frist read it probley about 17 years ago. Not only do I love it my son who is 7 loves it as while.
