Publisher Comments:

In an unwelcoming English village, two young outsiders are swept up in an archaeological mystery that ends in a startling paranormal twist.

A sense of foreboding sets in the moment fourteen-year-old twins Rachel and Adam arrive from New York to visit their English grandmother. The station is empty, village streets are deserted, locals are hostile, and even their frail Granny Root is oddly distant. And what about the bees that appear to follow a mysterious force? It all seems tied up with the Triskellion an intertwining symbol etched in chalk on the moors. With a growing sense of danger and white-knuckle suspense, the twins are compelled to unearth a secret that has protected the village for centuries, one that reveals a shocking truth about their ancestors and themselves.

Synopsis:

In an unwelcoming English village, two young outsiders are swept up in an archaeological mystery that ends in a startling paranormal twist, in this first novel in a thrilling supernatural trilogy.

I loved this book I thought that it was great and that it had alot of twist into it. Ithought that it kept getting better and better. I think that the only down side was a the cussing that was not right so I would have to say that this book would be more for teens. Well have a nice day and God bless

I loved this book so much! I loved it so much that I went to the book store a couple days after I finished the book and I was a little bit disappointed when it gave you a mysterious excerpt and the book wasn't even out yet! I was so disappointed! I had to pick out different books for my upcoming trip! : (

I read this whole book hoping it would get better and it never did. The premise was intriguing enough (especially with the author note at the end), but it felt forced, especially when the twins discover what they have in common with Gabriel. It was simply, "Oh! You're like us!" and then everyone accepts it and moves on. No questions asked. The ending was a bit too cookie-cutter also and the last sentence made me roll my eyes. All in all, I wasn't very impressed.
