I've read a lot of "Introduction" books that tried to be more than just introductions to a subject. This is not one of those.

I highly recommend this as an Introduction to Ecclesiology. Karkkainen gives plenty of time and effort into fairly explaining the major views of Ecclesiology.

Not for first time readers interested in theology, but also not too difficult for novice learners.
