Excellent, simple recipes that become repeat hits. The popsicle recipe is a guilt-free, kid-pleaser, to be sure! I have bought copies for all my friends, and my copy is wrinkled, stained and much loved.

I recieved this cookbook as a wedding gift in 1979 and am looking for another copy to pass on to my daughter. I love the concept and have incorporated so many of the comments and ideas into our lives. My copy is spiral and therefore very easy to lay open. I'd much rather have that than the paperback.

I purchased this book in the late 1970's when my children were very young. I tried most of the recipes and re-read it many times, making notes all in of the margins. She gives very practical advice and basic suggestions for a healthy and economical lifestyle. Many of these recipes have been incorporated into our family traditions. I finally gave my (now grown) son that original copy a few years ago. I discovered that I missed having my copy for reference, and began searching for a replacement. Last Christmas, I bought the updated version to return to my collection of favorite cookbooks. It's a book you will refer to again and again!
