About the Author
Polina Prokopovich is Cardiff Academic Fellow at Cardiff University's Welsh School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, UK. Her research interests are in discovering surface modification techniques to improve wear performance and biocompatibility of materials for arthroplasty, the formulation and mechanics of drug delivery devices and the phenomena of adhesion and bioadhesion.
