Edgar D. Lawrence Is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Special Education at Central Bible College, Springfield Missouri, Where He Has Taught Since 1963. After Receiving a Bachelor's Degree from Central Bible College, He Earned a Master's Degree from California State University at Northridge, Where He Completed the National Leadership Training Program in the Area of Deafness. in Addition to Teaching Classes on Deafness and Sign Language, He Has Authored Two Books-Sign Language Made Simple and Ministering to the Silent Minority. a Renowned Educator, He Was Honored in Outstanding Educators of America in 1975.

I studied sign language for 4 years under Ed Lawrence. Ed has worked with the deaf for over 30 years. I have taught several sign language classes over the years using his book. It is the easiest book to learn from. I highly recommend it!
