This book helped me tremendously to be able to actually communicate with my husband by not assuming he knew what he did to upset me and ask him. We were both guilty of this. We realized and were shocked to find out that 95% of the time we were never thinking what the other person thought we were thinking when we did or said something that upset the other. We began to lovingly tell each other "don't think what I am thinking". Ask me what I am thinking. At first you feel so vunerable with the red flags waving but it's definitely worth putting the principles you suggest into practice. I give this book to friends all the time. It is an awesome tool to help people understand and communicate openly with each other. Thank you!

Powell is very articulate and he brings out some sense out of man's behaviour. He shows us how society has misled itself in hatred for self. When you read his hard facts you become conscious and live life from a different world view.
