The Guggenheim is a collection of articles by experts on Wright and museology. They cover the design, troubled construction, working life of the Guggenheim, its effect on later museum design, and its recent restoration. It is fully illustrated with drawings, photos, and facsimiles of the many letters needed to create it. The articles are easy to read, but well documented for students and scholars. Considering the depth of this book and the high quality of its construction, it is a bargain in the world of architecture books. Its semi-gloss to gloss cover, with raised and lowered areas, is a pleasure to hold. Recommended for the Wrightophile and museum-goer.
