Nobel Prize recipient Toni Morrison and Slade Morrison breathe new life into a classic Aesopand#8217;s fable.andlt;BRandgt;andlt;BRandgt; In the well-known tale of and#8220;The Tortoise and the Hare,and#8221; everyone remembers that and#8220;slow and steady wins the raceand#8221;and#8212;or does it? In this energetic retelling of a favorite fable, itand#8217;s the speedy Hare who crosses the finish line first, but itand#8217;s Tortoise who has the tale to tell when he discovers that the race, not the winning, is what matters most.
