Publisher Comments:

Celebrating the works of a great Chilean poet, this collection offers a vibrant translation of Nerudas sensual and erotic poetry. Famous for his politically engaged lyrics, the Nobel Laureate also wrote bold and sexual sonnets, and this compilation captures the spirit and verbal dexterity of the lesser-known genre. These sonnets from one of the most influential and beloved 20th-century poets accompany questions for discussion and lists of recommended readings and related websites.
