About the AuthorJane L. Delgado, Ph.D., M.S. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, the nations largest organization of health and human service providers to Hispanics. Delgado came to her position at the Alliance after serving in the Immediate Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). A practicing clinical psychologist, Delgado is the author of The Latina Guide to Health (La guía de salud). She lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband Mark and daughter Elizabeth.
