Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

This is a 2003 edition of ""Poor Richard's Almanack."" Richard Saunders reappears, after 270 years, to again edit this important classic. Including such ever important predictions as weather, horoscope, and geopolitical events, this new edition of America's treasured annual will find a nostalgic place in barns and outhouses and maybe a one-room schoolhouse or two. We predict it will outsell other almanacks just as it did in the 18th century and become America's #1 selling almanack.

About the Author

Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston on January 17, 1706, attended the Continental Congress and signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, was the United States Minister to France from 1778-1785, and a member of the Constitutional Congress in 1787. He founded the Post Office, and produced his Almanack for a quarter of a century.
