About the Author

Richard Weisgrau, a professional photographer, was the executive director of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) for fifteen years. He is the author of The Real Business of Photography and others books. He lives in Nabeth, PA. Victor S. Perlman, a highly respected lawyer specializing in the arts, is managing director of ASMP, where he has served as general counsel for more than ten years. He lives in Philadelphia.
