About the Author

Kimball Livingston has been covering sailing in the Bay Area since the 1970s. Editor-at-large for Sail Magazine and author of Sailing the Bay, Livingston has established himself as the voice for San Franciscos sailing culture. He lives in San Francisco, California.

Roger Vaughan has been covering the Americas Cup since the 1960s, publishing features in Life, Sail Magazine, Sailing World, and The Yacht. He is also the author of several books, including Americas Cup XXVII, The Official Record. He lives in Oxford, Maryland.

Photo editor of Sailing on the Edge, Sharon Green is known for her spectacular Ultimate Sailing calendars, and is currently working on her highly anticipated book, 30 Years of Ultimate Sailing. She lives in Santa Barbara, California.

Gilles Martin-Raget is the official photographer for Americas Cup 34, and is frequently published in many prominent sailing magazines, including Yachting World and Nautique. He lives in Marseille, France.
