About the Author

ahdri zhina mandiela is the founder and artistic director of b current, and the driving force behind the much buzzed about rock.paper.sistaz festival. Best known for her work as a dubpoet, ahdri has gained world-wide acclaim for her books, music recordings, and theatre and dance productions. In 2006, she was awarded the George Luscombe Award for mentorship in theatre, and was named the number one theatre artist by NOW Magazine. ahdri lives in Toronto.
