I have not read the book yet. I heard the author read a few passages on Terry Gross's "Fresh Air", while I sat in my car parked at a Walmart. As the brother of a murdered sister, Kathleen's words were at once stinging and soothing, mournful yet comforting. I'm now back at my computer about to order this powerful book.
