I grew up at the end of the Cold War. This book was read to our 6th grade class by our teacher out loud. To this day, it has left a lasting impression on me. When the Wall came down and the Cold War ended... This book again came to mind. From time to time things are mentioned in the news and it keeps coming back to me. I can't wait to get it for my child to read.
