A little too wordy when you've already chosen to lose, continue to lose, or maintain lost weight on Atkins. A good reference to why your body might respond to a high protein regimen by cutting or reducing the amount of carbs you eat. Also explains well the difference between "good" carbs and unneccesary carbs and how your body utilizes them.

If you're looking for a low-carb meal planner, however, I would choose the Atkins New Diet Revolution or a different low-carb diet to start. Jonny Bowden wrote a good resource for choosing called: Living the Low Carb Life: From Atkins to the Zone, Choosing the Diet That's Right For You. All these resources are available at Powells. http://www.powells.com
