Publisher Comments:

A spooky spin-off of the best-selling Animal Ark series, this new Hauntings title will have animal-lovers shivering in fear and delight.

Mandy and her best friend James are used to dealing with animals in distress. But ghostly animals in distress are a different matter...

While camping on mysterious Dalton Heath, Mandy and James hear a strange howling. The next day, local residents tell them the legend of a dog and an owner that were parted long ago. The dog is destined to howl every night until they are reunited. When Mandy and James investigate, they find a lonely greyhound whimpering near an abandoned house. But despite their coaxing, the dog won't come with them.

Will Mandy and James help the dog find peace?

This is a wonderful title! I love the way the 2 main words start with the same letter so that it rolls off your tongue. AS for the books, they are absolutly captivating. Once ive started, i can never stop! THese books helped me get through many years without a canine companion!
