Nora Roberts makes a break from her more traditional romances, creating an enchanting page-turner which can best be described as 'Anne Rice meets Buffy'. Full of vampires and sorcery. this series is probably most suited to adult fantasy readers.

This is the third and final book in the series.

I have to say that I am one of the biggest fans of Nora Roberts. Since I was 17 (5 years ago) I have been reading every book she has written. I do not think I have ever been able to not be a part of her book; I like to think that I am character right there on the fore front.
I love the legend of vampires and witches. Add that to my favorite author and you have three books that I can not put down. I can not say who is my favorite character because I love them all! I will have to say that so far this is one of my favorite trilogies as of yet, In The Garden being right next to this one.
I totally recommend everyone and anyone to read these books and I promise that there will be some part of you that loves the stories as they unfold. Just let yourself go as you picture in your head what you read; get ready for one heck of a magical ride!

The perfect ending to a perfect romance! The characters are rich, the romance believable, and the scenery spectacular. I love the way Nora writes! I'm not usually into vampire stories, but this one totally captured my imagination. I must have dreamt about Cian a half dozen times since I read this series. I particularly loved the ending, but I won't spoil it, just be sure to hang in till the very last sentence!
