Publisher Comments:

Fantastic fiction from the author of the "Shopoholics" books. Samantha Smith is a Cambridge-educated lawyer with an IQ of 168. But after she makes a huge mistake at work, she walks out on her high-pressured demanding job and somehow finds herself working as a housekeeper in the country. Samantha learns to slow down but her old life threatens to catch up with her.

An overall enjoyable chick-lit/romance novel with some hilarious mooments. The best part of it to me was the description about how the main protagonist samantha deals with the usual domestic choires - doing laundry, cleaning, cooking etc. For me personally it's hard to believe that someone would be so ignorant about it and that's what's so funny in this book, though I admit that there might be people who never actually had the need or want to do the domestic routine. The second part of the book is sligtly less inteesting as it strays into romance, there's also some action at the end. All in all, I'd recommend it, especially for cold winter evenings.
