Violence of Action (Rogue Warrior)by Richard Marcinko
Synopses & Reviews
Back from self-imposed exile, the Rogue Warrior enters a whole new phase of his amazing career. The threat this time is from domestic terrorists intent on a holy war — military insiders gone bad — and they possess suitcase-sized nuclear weapons. The city of Portland, Oregon, is marked for annihilation — but the terrorists are going up against the best in the bloody business. Not only has age weathered the Rogue Warrior into the ultimate fighting machine, he's also got an entirely new team of heavy hitters — a multicultural band of the toughest operatives available. The battle takes the Rogue Warrior to the extremes of hard-core action with the survival of his country at stake, and Demo Dick has never had a harder fight ahead of him. Is he up to the challenge, or has the Rogue Warrior finally met his match?
The #1 New York Times bestselling mastermind behind the Rogue Warrior(R) strikes again with an all-new series of blazing adventures--starring a raucous cast of Navy Seals. Black Ops specialist and Seal Richard Marcinko "was too loose a cannon for the U.S. Navy" (People), but that hasn't stopped him from scoring nine consecutive New York Times bestsellers. Violence of Action is a masterpiece of suspense-laced action-adventure, a novel loaded with exciting new characters, high-tech military authenticity, and battle-tested grit. After a year of self-imposed isolation in the wake of carrying out a controversial assassination, the Rogue Warrior has emerged from the ashes to become a dynamic new force--and just in time. The new foe's opening blow is merely a bloody forecast of the nightmare sure to come, unless Marcinko can successfully locate and destroy the organization bent on leveling Portland, Oregon, in a nuclear holocaust.
Following a year of self-imposed isolation, a new and dynamic Rogue Warrior rises from the ashes of the past to take on a terrorist organization that is threatening an American city with nuclear annihilation.
