A fifth section will cover the IE 4 add-ons.

The book guides the reader from a beginning user level to an intermediate user level. The book will be organized as follows:

Part I: Get IE up and running. Install the software, configure the software to work with a serviceprovider, and customize the look of the software to work smarter and faster.

Part II: Working with the integrated desktop. Learn how IE 4 changes the way Windows operates, use Active Content on the desktop, and set up Task Scheduler to automate routine download and maintenance tasks.

Part III: Get familiar with the browser. Access web sites, save and print pages, work with Favorites, perform searches, use FTP, and view multimedia.

Part IV: Get familiar with email. Send and receive messages. send attachments, keep an address book, use the Inbox Assistant, and use HTML mail.

Part V: Get familiar with news. Subscribe to newsgroups, read and post messages, post attachments, use newsgroup filters, and use HTML news.

Part VI: Some light reading. Discussions about other IE add-ons, how they are used, and where to get more information about them.
