About the AuthorAbout the Authors David Elderbrock has worked for over five years as a technical consultant and Internet developer for Silicon Valley start-ups, small businesses, and large corporations. David has been instrumental in the design and implementation of over two dozen Web sites, and in addition to hammering out his share of Web pages in text editors, he has also done programming, mostly in Perl, JavaScript, and Java, with, more recently, a smattering of Visual Basic and C++. He has developed a number of online database applications, SQL and otherwise, on Macintosh, Windows, and Unix platforms. He is the principal author of Building Successful Internet Businesses and a contributing author of Producing Web Hits, both published by IDG Books Worldwide.
