Publisher Comments:

Charlotte Ramsey is the new girl ... again. Back to the USA after Paris, Australia, and Africa, Charlotte is ready to make new friends and stay in one place. There is just one teeny problem ... after causing the biggest cafeteria blunder in the history of Abigail Adams Junior High School, Charlotte's assigned lunch partners--the very stylish Katani, irrepressible Avery, and super-friendly Maeve--can't wait to dump her. Can it get any worse? Absolutely! Nobody is talking and Katani wants out of the group. Now add in one mysterious landlady, a romantic evening gone awry, an old key to nowhere, and certain classmates who have nothing better to do than gossip. What a mess! Can the girls become true friends or will they remain worst enemies for life?

Synopsis:

The first day at school is a humorous disaster for newcomer Charlotte. While initially repelled by each other, Charlotte and three other classmates eventually become close friends in spite of themselves ? and discover a mysterious secret tower in Charlotte's house.

The book combines comedy and adventure all in one. It teaches you alot of friendship. And no matter how bad you think you messed it up I'm sure it wasn't as bad as Charlotte. But it worked out fine because she ends up having amazing new friends for keep. If you haven't already, you must read it.

It is a very well written, good book, especially for 10-13 year olds. It is about a group of 4 friends who discover a tower, a place where they can hang out and become best friends. This book is worth reading!!!
