Synopses & Reviews

Synopsis:

The heart and soul of the West is seen through the eyes of its women-cowgirl poets writing about jinglin' the horses home, haymaking time, cowboy courtin', livin' free, July thunderstorms, and real wealth, among other things close to a cowgirl's heart. And, of course, there are plenty of poignant observations on life and men.

An exceptional collection of Cowgirl Poetry by women who obviously live what they write. The piece Old Yellow Slicker by Debra Coppinger Hill hit a personal note with me. Virginia Bennett did a wonderful job with this book. Purchase this book for an excellent read and a good understanding of what REAL COWGIRL POETRY is all about.
