A beautiful book, and hopefully very relevant to today's teens, especially the gifted ones.

My favorite line from the book: "With an elegant hand gesture, she indicates the other tables full of kids, most of whom look like they always sit by themselves at their regular school."

Nicola's narration is interspersed with excerpts from her notes, which fit in seamlessly, and yet allow Ryan to write with two different voices.

this was a very intresting book i enjoyed reading it and hope that other teen do to.

I think that Sara Ryan is a good author. I love The Rules for Hearts, it was a wonderful book I wish that I could have read the first book first. I think that Sara Ryan comes up with some creative titles for her books. I read an excerpt from her first book Empress of the World I thought that it was very good.
