Candid, heartfelt, triumphant- those are words to describe "Rage to Survive" about the life and times of the legendary blues diva, Etta James. One of the pioneers of Rock and Roll, and the only woman who can give Aretha Franklin a run for her money, Rage to Survive details life, love and the blues from having hit records as a teenager, to racism of the 50s/60s, to overcoming a turbulant heroin addiction. I recommend this book for everyone as it won't disappoint.
