About the Author

Antonio Skrmetaachieved worldwide renown with The Postman(Il Postino). His fiction has since received dozens of awards and has been translated into nearly thirty languages worldwide. He lives in Santiago, Chile.
Katherine Silver's most recent translations include Horacio Castellanos Moya's Senselessness, for which she received fellowships from PEN and the National Endowment for the Arts.
